The use of oil and gas in society today is an integral part of our way of living.

At the same time, society expects us in the industry to conduct exploration and production of energy with the utmost care for people and the environment.

The Macondo disaster in 2010 showed that the oil and gas industry will have to work ever harder to meet these reasonable expectations.

At the Task Force ZERO conference, senior industry leaders will look at improvements being implemented and at plans for the near future. Politicians and regulators will explore political expectations and issues to be resolved. Psychologists will share perspectives valuable to the industry as we seek to ensure a safe and responsible oil and gas industry in the longer term.

Danish Annual Safety Award.

The safety award will be given to a company in the offshore sector that has had the capability to increase the personal safety of its staff. An expert panel will select the prize-winning company among the nominees.All companies, which have a Danish tax number (CVR or SE number), can be nominated for the award and the HSSE network group is currently in the process of appointing a high-profiled business executive or celebrity who shall have the honors of handing over the prize.

Task Force ZERO is proud to present former Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) host of the scientific TV show "Viden Om" Ann Marker as moderator of the conference.

Ann Marker has a long experience in the geological field and a natural interest in oil and gas production from her field of experience.

Ann will guide us through the conference's mixture of presentations, debates and interviews. Ann Maker is looking forward to meeting the Danish oil and gas industry.
